Review :

Paul Blart: Mall Cop was a good movie. I want to start off my saying that the movie for this trailer had really made me turn my back to this movie. But once again I ended up seeing it and completely I completely regret the fact that I didn’t want to see it before. Not to mention Kevin James is a great actor with any role he plays, and he definitely played this one up to par.

This movie really did feel like a slapstick comedy but it turned out to be more family suggested. I’d say it is definitely a great movie for kids ages 6-13! But this movie didn’t give much room for the adults to enjoy a more mature humor. I did like the beginning introduction to the movie and the entire story line; it was just some scenes I believe would’ve been better off left out of the theatrical version of the film.

Some scenes get really extensive and just flat out, isn’t funny. For example: [SPOILER ALERT] Paul’s excessive drinking scene gets really long and his dancing around on the tables wasn’t that funny. Also the statement “I don’t drink,” was overused and was not funny nor a lead to something funny.

I wish I wouldn’t have paid for the price of the movie ticket, and I don’t suggest it either. Unless you are taking children primarily to see this movie then I wouldn’t bother paying price. The movie, once again, isn’t my in my selection for purchasing the DVD unless I had a few children. A rental is definitely going to happen because I may rethink my decision, but for now I will ponder the thought of seeing this movie twice.

Review :

I must say the Pink Panther 2 really amazed me! As someone who hasn’t seen the first Pink Panther or even the Pink Panther cartoon, I really liked this movie! Steve Martin (aka Jacques Clouseau) did an amazing job with this character and worked the comedy to the core!

One of the reasons why I loved this movie was because it was family oriented but it gave everyone their laughs. It had a lot of goofy things for the children while providing the older age groups with some flaring jokes. Ultimately, it’s a movie for everyone!

The writers did a great job to include many other main characters in this move. They did this because with multiple main characters, Jacques Clouseau (Steve Martin) could play comedy off of each of them individually. There was a new joke for each character after Clouseau met them. This really made a lot of laughing opportunities in the movie.
The trailer for this movie does a great job in showing the audience the story of this movie and putting a good amount of the comedy into the trailer. They did conserve a lot of the comedy for the whole movie as well, so if you’re thinking “They probably ruined it with the trailer,” you can think again! Although the trailer did deter me from seeing the movie sooner, a very excited spouse pulled me into seeing this movie with her.

This movie is definitely worth the price of the movie ticket, absolutely worth the DVD to be added to your collection, and if not the purchase then a rental price will give you a few hours of laughs.

Review:

I must say this movie really came at a surprise to me! I did not think that Adam Sandler could actual endure an entire film without making an adult joke or saying a foul word. But in the end I was actually “surprised”…

All the actors not only did a great job, but they connected well. Although the movie did seem too focused on the story of Skeeter Bronson, I would say it pinpointed the success of the film.

If you see the movie then think back through the scenes and lines the character’s say you could see that a few re-writes could have turned this film into a full on “Sandman” movie; but it’s the thought that counts.

If you plan on seeing this movie be prepared to laugh at Russell Brand’s lines quite a few times. Adam Sandler does get some good one-liners in that make you laugh in the oddest way as if were 5 years old again.

Overall, definitely an acceptable movie to see, but I’m not going to be dipping my hands in for seconds unless I’m offered a free viewing.

Review:

I’m just going to say it without holding back; this movie was great! If you like romantic comedies, life stories, and cute little puppies then you will love this movie! I was questioning this film when watching the trailer, yet I was pulled in with the humor it imposed. Though I was not aware of the heart touching story that came with the film as a whole.

From start to finish this movies ties all knots and twists all strings with a comical beginning to an emotion driven ending. At the start of the movie the film does a great job of presenting a solid and clear background story. Continuing, the movie then changes its focus by introducing its new character, Marley. With this new character, the focus of the movie shifted slightly but not as much as you’d think. They play Marley to be an important part of John Grogan’s new found life but not entirely. As you suspected from the trailer of this movie the mainstream is in actuality not Marley yet the directors use a semi-extended fast forward scene of John’s column topics to show Marley’s importance factor in John’s life.

This movie is the story of John Grogan’s life after marriage. The movie trailer seems to be misleading from the meaning to the movie. With no intimate or emotionally faulting scenes in the trailer, the movie is displayed as a fun-filled comedy. When, after viewing, the movie is a heart-touching love story.

So now you know about the film Marley and Me so if you seem interested but are a little suspicious about the trailer you now have all the facts to make an accurate decision! Go see the movie and post your comments!
